Meet the Team

As a member of The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), HR in One holds professional standards in the areas of people resourcing, development, relations, and reward. Our team are also members of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and are on the Register of Qualifications in Test Use (RQTU). At HR in One we offer services in relation to recruitment, selection, development, career guidance, and advice using the following tests:

Raf Aziz
Founder / Management Consultant

Raf has a MBA in Project Management / HR, coupled with a wealth of experience in HR, resourcing, development and brand awareness. He began his HR career in volume resourcing at Barclays Bank, later acting as consultant for a number of highly respected public and private sector organisations across the UK. In particular, Raf has also provided support and advice to a number of small to medium sized businesses around HR and risk management, helping them to identify and manage risk.

Throughout his career Raf has helped create and run candidate assessment and development events, for businesses in a variety of sectors. From competency to strength based interviewing, he has extensive experience recruiting for graduate and experienced candidate roles.

Offering HR support and career guidance, Raf has coached candidates both on a 1 to 1 basis and through group workshops. He has helped individuals develop a range of skills including CV and application writing and presentation, interview skills, in addition to providing brand advice for people choosing self-employment. Raf is also an active STEM Ambassador for the North West of England.

Janet Bell
Associate Director

Janet has been instrumental since the inception of HR in One, from drawing up business plans to acquiring a major aviation client at Manchester Airport. She has been an incredible mentor, and has always provided invaluable guidance in the world of Business and Human Resource Management.

A CIPD associate, Janet is a highly experienced, energetic, and practical HRM specialist in Resourcing, Outplacement, Assessment and Development.  Throughout her career, she has initiated, implemented, and managed several high profile HRM projects in both the private and public sector.

Her wealth of experience and knowledge has been key to HR in One's  success and will continue to add value to upcoming projects

Huma Aziz
Learning and Development Director 

Huma has a Masters in Politics and extensive experience in the areas of learning and development, in particular working with diverse ethnic and gender communities. She has a passion for empowering women and specialises in BAME, social mobility, diversity and inclusion, involved in the design and implementation of Equality Impact Assessments.

Huma has successfully implemented end to end high-volume recruitment and engagement projects, in both the public and private sectors. 

Having a wealth of experience from a broad range of recruitment activities, Huma's work includes candidate assessments, screening, and interviewing. In addition to the wealth of experience she has gained across all aspects of resourcing, Huma is also experienced in dealing with issues which are complex, delicate, within various non-recruitment, law enforcement, and community based roles.

Christine Spencer
Associate Training Consultant

Christine is a firm believer that we all have the potential to develop further. Specialising in Leadership, Customer Service, and Mental Health, she is able to help individuals, graduates, and organisations, unleash their potential from the initial recruitment stage, to on-boarding, training, coaching, and beyond.

With a background working in the Civil Service, Finance, and Retail sectors, she has gained extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Christine is passionate and driven in the work that she does, giving individuals the guidance they need to discover their potential and helping businesses through the development of their colleagues.

Christine is qualified and has experience working in the areas of Coaching, Education and Training, Psychology, Cognitive Behaviour, and Mental Health First Aid. She is also currently working towards an accreditation in Personal Profile Analysis (PPA), to be able to assess individuals on, among other things, their motivators, values and behavioural style.

Merroney Williams
Business & Coaching Psychologist

Merroney is a qualified psychologist in business and coaching, specialising in the area of personality within leadership development.

Working for a variety of national and international organisations, including work in the Middle East, India, and the Far East, Merroney gained an invaluable insight into the cultural norms and approach to business in different countries. This included over a year working for the Abu Dhabi government.

Merroney has extensive experience in the design and delivery of training programmes, including ones for personal development, recruitment, and executive coaching. She taught personal development at Northumbria Business School and delivered leadership coaching for institutions including Lancaster University Management School and Alliance Manchester Business School.

Adam Bani
Communication & Marketing Officer

Adam joined the  HR in One family in September 2022 as a Junior Copywriter. They have a keen interest in the business sector, in particular their passion for copy writing and wanting to help businesses with their advertising and marketing.

For the last 18 months Adam has added immense value to the FYI programme, not only having helped develop engaging material that appeals to the younger audience which is now being delivered to high school students in England, but also supporting with marketing for other services offered by HR in One.

Adam came onboard as a Junior Copywriter and is now the Marketing and Communications Officer. 

Natasha Benham
Associate Learning & Development Consultant

Natasha is a highly accomplished and qualified training professional with a diverse background spanning the private and public sectors, including extensive experience in the fields of aviation, insurance and the Ministry of Justice.
 
With a passion for talent acquisition and a commitment to making a positive impact on society, Natasha has built a reputation as a skilled associate consultant who consistently identifies and selects exceptional individuals for critical roles that shape and transform organisations. 

Natasha is working with the learning and development team, where she is taking part in the delivery of the FYI careers programme to both primary and high school students in England and Wales.

Aisha Ahmed
FYI / PACE Facilitator

Aisha is the latest addition to our HR in One family. They are in their final year studying  a degree in Business and Marketing at the Manchester Metropolitan University. 
 
They have a passion for helping young people by sharing their own academic experiences.

Aisha is working with HR in One Learning and Development team, where they are taking part in the delivery of both the FYI and PACE programmes.
